This was a quite little remodeled, older motel that worked perfect for what we needed. Just needed a place to stay on our way to Mexico. Beds were fabulous shower worked rooms were clean and it had a little space outside. You could sit outside. Quaint little motel and served our purpose very well great job
It's definitely older place. But the cleanliness and and courteous staff is exemplary. Everything worked perfectly. TV, wifi, a/c!!! Pool looked nice but didn't get a chance to use. Wonderful little quaint place to stay in Ajo!!
I'm giving this 5 stars not because the room is amazing, but because the value is amazing. The people who own it are very kind and are turning this place around. Years ago it was an awful place. Now it's clean and comfortable, albeit dated, but that's ok. There was a microwave and a dorm-style refrigerator. The TV was good-sized and they have Direct TV as well as Wi-Fi, which worked well.
Can't beat it for the price. It's right off the main road, clean, quiet, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in Ajo, and I definitely recommend.
Quaint room. Quiet. Nice bathtub. One star deducted for there only being two thin pillows on the bed; it wouldn't hurt to put some extra pillows in the room. Note that the parking lot is entirely gravel. Across the street from the motel is a Marathon gas station which serves hot food -- their burritos are of particularly high repute.
I stayed here for one night, and it's comparable too a Motel/INN just like in other cities around the country. The staff was friendly, and the room was understandable for the price. Price seems to be at average market, at the time of this writing—affordable for what they've too offer. They've a bed, air conditioner, TV, WI-FI, small mini fridge, shower and a toilet. Very basic room, but the price is reasonable and fair.
The place is clean, simple, and sweet. Run by a kind family who lives on site. I wasn't expecting much, but the motel had everything I needed for a three-night stay and the bed was comfortable. It also happens to be located across the street from the town's only real grocery store. How convenient!
Five stars across the board for clean, quiet, friendly, and prompt service. Owners earned an A+ for hospitality. Don't pass up this desert gem.
